Parking is a premium at the Winterville Watermelon Festival.  We suggest the following:

A. G. Cox Athletic Complex – (adjacent to festival site)

A. G. Cox School -  (1/2 block to festival site)

Langley House Parking – (1/2 block to festival site)

Cost:  $5.00 per car

Winterville Christian Church
257 Cooper Street, Winterville NC  28590
Cost:  Minimum Charge

Streets – Winterville is a friendly community when it comes to parking on the streets.  We ask that you be considerate of our neighbors and do not block driveways and please do not litter. Also be sure to follow all sign regulations as they pertain to NO PARKING. Towing will be enforced.

The festival site is 324 Sylvania Street.  Sylvania Street will be a one way street on Thursday and Friday night with traffic running from Ange Street to Church Street.  Those VIP and Vendor parking passes please enter at the corner of Ange and Church Street.  All VIP and Vendor parking passes are sold out for 2012

Handicap Parking

The following areas are available for handicap parking and are first come first serve until full.

Thursday, August 23 – handicap parking will be allowed at the festival site until all spaces are taken.  Please enter at the corner of Ange Street and Division Street.  A uniform officer will be at the entrance to assist you.  Use 2716 Ange Street as the entrance point.

Friday, August 24/Saturday August 25 – handicap parking will be allowed on Sylvania Street and Church Street adjacent to A.G. Cox School until all spaces are taken.  You will be transported to and from the parking area to the festival site by our volunteer staff.  You may enter at the corner of Ange and Sylvania Streets.
