General Vendors Information – From $150

The Winterville Watermelon Festival Committee reserves the right to accept or deny any or all applications.

The application deadline is August 1st, 2023. A $50 late fee will be assessed after August 1st, 2023. No applications will be accepted after August 15th, 2023.

Electricity and Water
Electricity and Water is limited and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Vendors must provide their own heavy-duty extension cords and food-grade water hoses. Please see FESTIVAL GUIDELINES page for specific details.

Vendors are expected to be in operation:
Friday from 5pm – 10pm
Saturday from 8am – 6pm
Sunday from 1-6pm
Vendor Vehicles and Breakdown
No vendor vehicles will be allowed on festival grounds. Vendors will receive at least 1 parking pass, depending on vendor level. Please note: if you need to change shifts with another person, previous arrangements will need to be made to switch out parking pass. To allow festival attendees to exit safely, no vendor vehicles will be allowed to move into or around the festival grounds until 6pm on Sunday.

Vendor Staging
To make vendor staging more efficient, vendors will check in on site to receive their space assignment. You will receive arrival instructions once payment is received.

All festival vendors are required to read and agree to adhere to FESTIVAL GUIDELINES.

Vendor Pricing
3-day vendor – Fri/Sat/Sun – $300 per 10×10 space
2-day vendor – Sat/Sun – $150 per 10×10 space
1-day vendor – Saturday only $100 per 10×10 space

Priority Zones
The 2023 Winterville Watermelon Festival will now offer Vendor Priority Zones. Based on years of similar festival layout, we are allowing vendors flexibility between their budget and potential customer foot traffic.

Priority Zone 1 = Sponsorship Level Status
Priority Zone 2 = $300 per 10 x 10 space
Priority Zone 3 = $150 per 10 x 10 space
Priority Zone 4 = $100 per 10 x 10 space
As always, Non-Profit vendors within Winterville city limits, will not be charged for space but will be considered for Priority Zone that corresponds with days attending festival.
